You're joking, right?
No...we're not. At the 6th Annual Mardi Gras party, we decided to, as Emeril would say, "Kick it up a notch". So...what's a better way to do it, then with costumes? And while they are definitely not required this year, we had so much fun with it that we always hope that some will continue to participate.

So...now you're saying, "What the %*@#? Where am I going to get a costume?"

Believe us, we're not doing this as some sort of punishment, but rather to make things even more fun. We don't mean to cause folks stress. And we understand that folks may not have the time or desire to make up a "full" costume. That's why we've included a few links/ideas for quick and easy costumes that should take no time to throw together. (Normal Halloween fare is more than acceptable too.)

*** Bonus points for Risque...but of course we leave that to your own discretion. ***

To be honest with y'all, we're not going to turn anyone away if they show up not wearing a costume. (Actually, being Mardi Gras, not wearing anything would fit right in...but that's not what I meant). It'll definitely be more fun if you do tho.

As a little added incentive, somewhere during the evening we're going to do some voting and nominate our first King and Queen of the Mardi Gras party. (We're actually going to do it this year)

A last minute reminder, Mardi Gras colors are purple, green and gold. So, even if you don't wear a costume, at least wear the right colors. ;-)
